Overview
Working with Night Kitchen Interactive, we built an award-winning interactive online experience for the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service's The Bias Inside Us exhibition.
The project translates a physical exhibition experience into an engaging web-based journey that explores implicit bias through interactive storytelling, data visualization, and participatory exercises. The final experience expands the exhibition into a six-part online exhibition covering the foundations of bias, its real-world consequences, and strategies for reflection and change.

Night Kitchen's case study highlights the broader scope of the adaptation: a highly accessible, mobile-responsive experience built with new animations, interpretive audio, kinetic typography, and digital versions of exhibition interactives originally developed for the traveling show. You can view the online exhibition and Night Kitchen's portfolio page about the project for more context.
